Fullerton Healthcare Group, founded in Singapore in 2011, is a leading, vertically integrated managed care provider in Asia Pacific with a focus on providing affordable, accessible and sustainable healthcare to its esteemed corporate clients. Today, Fullerton Health is present in eight countries — from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Australia to New Zealand — and continues to expand its footprint in the region. Fullerton owns more than 500 medical clinics, centres and entities and partners with an extensive network of established and reputable medical providers across the Asia Pacific.

As part of its strategy to develop a strong presence and footprint in markets across the Asia Pacific, Fullerton Health continues to expand through careful planning and strategic acquisitions in the region, broadening its service offerings and coverage to its corporate clients in the region. This includes its recent acquisitions, made up of Healthscope in Australia in 2017 and Intellicare Group in Philippines that was completed in 2018.

Healthscope’s medical centre operations (HMC) is one of the largest primary care operators in Australia. The Intellicare Group is one of the leading managed care providers in the Philippines.

In addition, the world’s largest insurer Ping An Insurance also made a significant investment in Fullerton Health, making it the second largest shareholder as of November 2017. With the capital infusion, Fullerton Health aims to open a chain of clinics in major cities of China.

A multi-award-winning managed healthcare provider, Fullerton Health is proud to count numerous renowned companies as its esteemed clients, serving millions of patient encounters per annum, from blue-chip multinational companies to local small and medium-sized enterprises across Asia – a strong testament to Fullerton’s proven healthcare capabilities, commitment and service delivery.

In late 2017, Fullerton Health embarked on a major upgrade to the facilities at its Executive Health Screening Centres in Singapore. The improvement was driven by the healthcare providers’ goal to significantly improve customer care with a facility design that would transform patients’ health screening experience. The revolutionary patent-pending “Pod” design at Fullerton Executive Health Screening Centres aims to bring the medical tests to the patient. It features luxurious, individual pods where patients receive a variety of medical tests in private and in the comfort of the spacious seat, carried out by friendly and experienced nurses in the pod itself.

Under conventional health screening centres, patients undergo a series of medical tests and examinations, where the entire screening process may take as long as 3 hours (depending on the number of tests and patients) with the bulk of the time spent waiting in between, the whole process of which is lengthy and time-consuming.

Each Pod contains a luxurious built custom-designed leather armchair, a fold-out table surface, lockable storage compartment, an electronic tablet for entertainment, USB charging points, adjustable lighting, jacket hanging space, bottle/cup holders, a nurse call-button and a “Do Not Disturb” option. These allow customers to work, relax, read, eat, drink, surf the net or even rest during any intervals between testing. With the new ‘Pod’ design, patients now enjoy a personalised level of service, comfort and privacy during their health screening at Fullerton Health.

For all of these, Fullerton Healthcare won the Healthcare Asia Awards 2018 for Primary Care Provider of the Year, Patient Care Initiative of the Year, and Facilities Improvement Initiative of the Year.
