Our Doctors
Dr. Maria Bernadette S Thomas
Dr. Maria is a highly experienced physician with nearly four decades of clinical practice across New Zealand, Australia, and Malaysia. Based at our NTU clinic for the past 10 years, Dr. Maria specialises in dermatology, holding a Post-Graduate Diploma in Dermatology (Australia). Her qualifications also include Occupational Medicine (UKM, Malaysia), a Diploma in Sexually Transmitted Diseases (Thailand), and a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (U.S.).
Dr. John Zhang
Dr. John Zhang is a highly experienced medical professional specialising in occupational health. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (with Honours) from [University Name, if known] and has completed further studies in Family Medicine and Occupational Medicine at the National University of Singapore. A registered Family Physician and MOM Designated Workplace Doctor, Dr. Zhang has extensive experience in clinical leadership roles.
Dr. Sophie Zhou
Dr. Sophie Zhou joined our NTU clinic in September 2024. With seven years of experience, Dr. Zhou holds a Diploma in Family Medicine and a PhD. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and making a positive impact on the lives of her patients.
Dr Shuy Yao Jie
Dr. Shuy Yao Jie is a medical professional in emergency medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, and general surgery, graduating with honours from the University of Ireland, Galway. He holds diplomas in Palliative and Family Medicine and is pursuing studies in Mental Health. He received the NUS Medicine Junior Doctor Teaching Award in 2019.
