In a significant move towards enhancing health and wellness for individuals, Fullerton Health has joined forces with the Health Promotion Board (HPB), Google and ConnectedLife for the HealthTrack SG programme. This collaboration is a proactive step in support of the government’s Healthier SG initiative and its comprehensive prevention blueprint aimed at fostering a healthier nation.
Technology at Your Fingertips to Empower Healthier Choices
For the HealthTrack SG programme, participation is free but those who do not have a compatible Fitbit device can purchase one, provided at a subsidised rate as part of the programme. Participants can earn up to $140 in incentives by engaging in the programme, which can help to further offset the cost of the device. This wearable device facilitates the syncing of health data, allowing users to track their physical activities, monitor their sleep patterns, and gain insights into their overall health. This information, along with clinical data like blood pressure, is displayed in the HealthTrack SG app to give patients a holistic view of their health and highlight areas for improvements.
Doctors also have access to this information through an online dashboard, giving them a clearer picture of their patients’ health. This way, they can create personalised wellness plans with specific lifestyle recommendations that are then shared with patients through the app.
The watch and mobile app not only serve as a motivating companion in one’s fitness journey but also encourage users to reach their wellness goals by providing real-time feedback and recommendations based on their activity levels and health data.
Join the Movement for Better Health
Fullerton Health is excited to invite eligible individuals to join this transformative program. Healthier SG is designed to drive a fundamental shift in how health is approached in Singapore, focusing on preventive care, healthy living, and the management of chronic diseases. By teaming up with HPB, Google and ConnectedLife, Fullerton Health aims to leverage technology and community engagement to empower individuals to take charge of their health.
Recruitment of patients for HealthTrack SG is planned for the first half of 2025, and eligible patients will be part of this pilot for a year to monitor their lifestyle habits.
