Organisations explore synergies to support Active Health in Singapore
Singapore, 23 November 2018 – Fullerton Healthcare Corporation Limited (“Fullerton Health”), a leading vertically integrated healthcare platform in the Asia Pacific region, and Sport Singapore (SportSG), the national agency for sport, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Under the MoU, the organisations will explore synergies to support Active Health. This potentially will include examining new capabilities, capacities and how we can expand its reach to all segments of Singapore.
Active Health, an initiative by SportSG, is the national social movement for health and wellness that seeks to empower and motivate individuals to take ownership of their health and wellbeing and to build strong social bonds and meaningful social connections with their family, friends and community .
Active Health seeks to provide Singaporeans accessibility to high quality shared experiences in sport, physical activities, health and wellness to inspire active living for all. Singaporeans of all fitness levels and life stages will have access to a holistic suite of Active Health facilities and resources including coaches and monitoring tools to support individuals in sustaining an active lifestyle and managing their health and wellness .
The MoU will combine Fullerton Health’s leading capabilities in providing accessible, affordable and sustainable healthcare through their network and platform across Singapore with SportSG’s expertise to explore collaboration opportunities to support Active Health’s aspirations.
