Staff Nurse

As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of top-notch patient care while managing clinical and administrative duties within the clinic.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with physicians to assist in various medical procedures.
- Perform venepuncture and administer vaccinations as required.
- Conduct a range of procedures in the treatment room, including Tonometry, Spirometry, Audiometry, Nebuliser treatments, ECG, and Dressing changes.
- Perform stress ECG tests when necessary.
- Assist in Code Blue situations or other clinical procedures as assigned.
- Practice within your assessed competence to ensure patient and self-safety, following SNB code of practice and core competencies.
- Properly operate and maintain medical and IT equipment.
- Handle patient registration and effectively use Clinic Management System.
- Manage patient records in accordance with the PDPA Act.
- Fulfil other administrative duties as directed by the Clinic IC or Ops Manager.
- Maintain open communication with patients and team members to ensure patient needs are met.
- Demonstrate effective people management skills by supervising and mentoring less experienced staff.
- Respect the values, customs, spiritual beliefs, and practices of individuals and groups.
- Embrace and convey FHG Purpose and Shared Values in daily work.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure timely billing in Clinic Management System and insurance portals.
- Perform specific duties as assigned by the Clinic Manager and through training (e.g., CSSD, Audiometry, Phlebotomy, Swabbing, etc.).
- Monitor and maintain clinic supplies inventory by checking stock levels.
- Assist the Medical Records Office with Corporate summary reports or MOM reporting when needed.
- Uphold proper infection control standards.
- Adhere to organisational policies, procedures, and standards protocols.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Execute any other additional duties assigned by the Clinic IC or Ops Manager.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum GCE “N” Levels.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Applicants must be fully vaccinated (according to MOH guidelines w.e.f. 14 Feb 2022). Proof of vaccination or a doctor’s memo for those medically ineligible may be requested for verification purposes.
