Group Risk and Data Protection Manager

Job Overview:
The Group Risk and Group Data Protection functions formulate relevant policies and tools for all Fullerton Health markets across the Group while working closely with stakeholders to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives. This is done by implementing robust risk management and data protection frameworks that comply with applicable laws and regulations, harmonizing risk management and data handling practices across the Group, and contributing to a stronger governance culture to bring about greater value to the Group, and our clients and patients.
This position reports to the Head of Group Risk and Group Data Protection Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Assist to develop, maintain and/or update risk management and data protection policies and documentation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on risk management compliance and risk reporting.
- Prepare, coordinate and participate in risk management and data governance meetings and discussions with stakeholders, including preparing minutes of meetings.
- Participate in business continuity planning and testing.
- Participate in and coordinate incident management, reporting and tracking.
- Assist the Head of Group Risk in managing insurance coverage for the Singapore business.
- Assist the Group Data Protection Officer in communicating with stakeholders on data inventory mapping, data protection assessments and data handling protocols.
- Reviewing and responding to queries on risk and data protection management and their use cases.
- Prepare and conduct relevant trainings and awareness programs.
- Other related projects and work as assigned.
Requirement:
- Bachelor or post-graduate degree in a quantitative field, and professional certification in risk management and/or data protection.
- Minimum 7 years of working experience, of which at least 3 years’ experience in risk management and/or data protection obtained from SMEs with regional presence or MNCs.
- Good time management and strong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with personnel across departments, locations and seniority levels,
- Initiative and self-motivated individual who can work independently,
- Meticulous and analytical,
- Able to thrive in a small team supporting a multi-business stream organization.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
