Consolidation Executive (1 year contract)
1 Year Contract
Main responsibilities:
- Assisting in consolidation of quarterly and annual Singapore Group financials, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and other regulatory requirements
- Preparation/review of monthly intercompany reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarterly and year-end financial closing
- Handling statutory audit, coordinate the audit process
- Ensure the Group accounting policies and estimates are consistent
- Identify financial reporting issues and initiate measures to enhance the reporting process
- Maintain and continuously improve operating efficiency of financial processes and reporting
- Assist in rolling out Group wide accounting policies
- Ad-hoc projects
- Any other duties as and when required
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy with relevant professional qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, specifically in accounting/ Group consolidation
- Strong technical competency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Experienced candidates from Big 4 audit firms are welcome
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deliver within strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous individual who displays proactiveness towards problem solving
- Self-starter and able to work independently
