As the current Group CCO, Margareta works closely with the CEO and be responsible for developing commercial and business development strategies that are optimised for both short-term results and long-term strategy.
Her responsibility includes building the commercialisation infrastructure needed, structuring, and growing the organisation assets to drive market adoption of the Fullerton Health products and service offerings to serve more patients and corporate clients with affordable and accessible healthcare offerings.
Her focus is on an enterprise perspective on healthcare management and healthcare delivery market opportunities and lead in the assessment and prioritisation of geographic as well as market segments.
In Margareta’s previous role as COO, she united Fullerton Health’s operations across multiple countries. She spearheaded group procurement, steered strategic HR and talent development, championed innovation and transformation initiatives, and led impactful environmental and social programs that had sustained impact in the organisation.
She drives and support company results from both an operational and financial perspective towards growth, performance, and profitability. She builds partnerships with business leaders to institutionalise talent management and women leadership initiatives across the group.
Margareta has held senior global executive roles in the healthcare industry, notably in the field of medical devices and specialty innovative pharmaceuticals. She was a Country Director for the Hospital Group in Johnson and Johnson and had extensive experience working in the Asia Pacific region in driving key strategies on new and novel metabolic surgery technology.
Margareta has more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, account management, business development, change management, government engagement and leadership development. And personally, passionate on building women leadership in business and healthcare management.
Margareta holds an MBA (Strategy & Finance) from The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She is currently serving as Council Member and Chairperson for the Corporate Centre of Learning in the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF). Her previous work with SMF includes the past Chairperson of Medical Technology Industry Group and board member of GS1.
